This bag is far nicer than I ever would have expected! I took a lot of pictures because I feel for myself that is the easiest way to know more about a product. A picture is worth 1000 words! I have been looking for a pet carrier that looks like a purse that I could take with me into stores and restaurants under the radar. This was the first one I found it actually looked like a handbag. It is made of sturdy thick canvas that appears to be waterproof definitely easy to wipe down and clean. It is a canvas material not plastic. It has nice bronze gold accents which adds to the appeal of the handbag. On the front there are two heavy snap pockets perfect for carrying your wallet, cell phone, keys, purse items ...and a large zippered pocket on the front behind the snap pockets perfect for carrying dog snacks and leash.Inside there is a soft, furry pad that is removable secured firmly by Velcro straps so it can be taken out and washed.For added safety for your little one, there is a tethered stretchy leash to hook to your pup's collar so she doesn't jump out of the bag.On both sides of the bag there are zippered windows so your pet can see out or you can close it and no one can see in. On the top there is also a screen to peek in and a zippered closure. All "windows" (top, and both sides) can be zipped and snapped shut or securely Velcroed and snapped down. Quality.The Carrier/purse handles are just the right height for carrying on your shoulder as a shoulder bag or in the crook of your arm or carrying by hand like luggage. The size of the bag is definitely larger than my purse… think small overnight bag. But it is perfect for what I need and allows for my puppy to grow so I can continue to use it for years to come.Carrier is lined inside with a fashionable brown and black leopard print which is sexy and fun!The bottom of the bag has five round brass feet to keep your bag off the floor and reduce wear and tear on the bottom of your bag . This carrier has been well-designed and is made with extreme quality and looks great!!The only downside that I can see is that I cannot see inside through the light-colored mesh to see my pup. Not a big deal at all really.Also the sides tend to collapse in a bit but I actually like that because it conforms to my body when I am caring it on my shoulder .I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this bag because it exceeded all my expectations and that isn't easy to do.I can't wait to use it! And my chihuahua is ready to go!
