The size adjusts pleasantly big enough, for two other expensive collars I had to discard for the dogs seemed to outgrow them. But the most wonderful aspect of this collar defies the picture: it is lovely lighter in color upon arrival than it appears here, I think. I bought two collars for one black and white husky, Xander, and our other white blonde husky, Tundra, and amazingly the color of the plaid shows and stands out equally well for both. Once again, you can trust the sizing for 24" necks. Now beautiful, matching collars adorn our beloved husky sled dogs.Only one draw back no buckle, only slips over dogs head.The collar must be slipped over the dogs head, there is no claspProduct looks exactly like the pictures! Shipping was quick and the sizing chart is very accurate. Couldn’t have asked for a better shopping experience. This product has worked well for teaching my pup not to pull on the lead. We’ve been very thankful for a less harsh alternative to prong collars.This looks great, and looks very well made - I got the matching leash set, and I love them bothBeautiful collar, but a hazard ultimately...and I was happy with it right up until the day I was getting ready to walk my dog, slipped on his muzzle and turned around to clip the leash on the collar and he had pawed at the collar loop, got his foot caught, freaked out and slid his front left leg threw the loop all the way up his leg, and I had to cut the collar off of him. I never understood any of the previous statements I had read from people about dogs accidentally getting tangled and/or choked in their collars until that moment.Love the plaid and it’s a heavy duty collar, but it’s not a martingale.
