Highly recommend for traveling or just to have at home for an already trained dog. I purchased the Medium 26” model and it was plenty roomy to fit my 10”lb miniature schnauzer. I loved that it could fit between the bed & wall in a hotel room, and found that it could also double as a safe place for transporting in a car. It fit easily in our Toyota Corolla rental and in the overhead compartment in the plane. It was so easy to set up and fold up. My dog enjoyed it so much that she would just hang out in it. The little pocket on the side fit her collapsible food bowl, leash, & treats. When folded, I could even put her entire food container (a cereal type tupperware container) tucked inside the main compartment along with a small dog blanket. My only improvement would be for it to have a pass-through panel to attach to my carry-on. And my biggest complaint is that I didn’t buy it sooner. The material feels like 600 denier fabric and is very sturdy. I would recommend the Medium size for dogs up to 25lbs.I have a 13 and 15 year old dachshunds one of which has always gotten car sick. I suspected it might be anxiety from being in a separate carrier from his brother. This crate was perfect in that it fit across my back seat area so they were together and could see me at the same time. It was a straight through trip from Orlando to North Carolina and no one got sick. They actually enjoyed the trip. Best money spent.We love it and our fur baby loves it. It’s durable, easy to open and close, easy to clean and compact enough to travel with ease.I bought this for my new Lab puppy for traveling and got the larger size to allow room for growth. The full length heavy duty mesh on 3 sides & top allows for air circulation & visibility, while the 2 way zippers give me easy access. I drive a full size SUV, with the 2nd row seats down, I position the narrow end facing between the 2 front seats so she can see me. It still gives me room to pack travel items. It folds up very easily for storage between trips or when using as a sleep crate during family visits.I bought it to replace another crate that only had a small screened window on one side to give my puppy more air circulation. Plus I thought full length screens on both sides would make it easier to see her. Wrong, she's a black Lab & the increased screen size still doesn't let me see her at a quick glance.Only negative I have is its height prevents me using my rear view mirror for monitoring traffic. Smaller vehicles aren't always visible in my side mirrors.I look forward to using this unit in years to come to protect my dog.it's a great crate for travel, super easy to use. But if your dog is high anxiety and likes to get out of his crate a lot, he/she will find a way to chew or rip off the zippers on this one. Definitely better for a calm dog.One of the clasps is very difficult to lock and unlock, so I end up fighting with it every time I use the crate. The other three clasps work ok. I would not leave my dog in this for a long period of time, but for an hour or so, she has done ok in it. It is very lightweight, and once you finally figure out how to fold it up, it is easy to cary. It appears to be wellmade, but I'm sure if left in it long enough, my bronco would tear it up and escape.This is a good choice for my puppy of 7 months old, I bought it for him to travel in my SUV, it's spacious enough for him to stretch. My puppy is now even using it at home. There is a thin padding inside but I usually put in extra towels and blankets for him to sleep in.My 6 pound Havanese chewed through the mesh in under 10 minutes. Threw away 70 bucks. I think the manufacturer forgot that our furry friends have TEETH. There are so many materials that have superior durability. The chewed mesh feels more like paper than something that would contain a pet. ONLY PURCHASE THIS IF YOU HAVE EXTRA CASH YOU WANT TO THROW AWAY.
