Get the next size up than what you'd expect.I put these booties on my dogs feet and bought a big size because her padding is a bit big, and they come off as soon as she does more than walk. Useless since I need them to protect her feet from pavement. would be a great product if it stayed on.I bought these for my dog bc he's a shih tzu and gets his paws very dirty. they are perfect for the heat but not for the water or puddlesMy dog easily puts these on with payments of treats. The elastic band works great and does a great job when tightly pulled. Takes a little time to find the right tightness. My only issue is that the bottom black treads started to fray all over after 1 day of use (4 walks in the snow and salt on the payment). I wish thay were better quality material.I would purchase again.My dog wear shoes to walk about 1.5 miles a day. The shoes in the front broken (see photo) in two month. The shoes cannot last long-term.Like always it's gonna take a dog some getting use to, but she was a happy camper, cuz she was able to go outside in the hot weather without burning her little paws. After a while she was running around like a natural.They fit comfortably, I did measure her paws before buying. They little balls at the tie ends were too distracting to her and she kept trying to bite them off so I took them off and the knot without the plastic balls works just fine. These would be perfect if they were actually water proof. They are not, her feet are soaked if using in the water or snow.
