Perfect bag for my Abby girl....She is a 2lb 2oz 14 year old Yorkie. Her 15 year old sister just passed a month ago, leaving her alone for the first time in her little life. So I statred looking for a purse that was also a carrier and after a lot of research on line and in stores I decided to try this one . I read a lot of mixed reveiws on here but felt there was more positive then negitive.Glad I gave it a try. It is absolutley perfect size for my Abby Girl and for me. I am 5'4" about 130 lbs and it fits comfortably on my shoulder with or with out Abby inside. Roomy enough inside for Abby to move around and yet not bulky for me to feel comfortable to use as my purse too. There are two pockets and 1 big zippered area on the outside of the bag to carry essentials in. A nice little clasp on an elastic strap on the inside to attach to dogs halter for saftey. There seems to be plenty of ventilation as there is mesh in the very top of the bag with a zippered flap that can be left open or shut. A mesh area with a flap on one end and and a in / out zippered opening with no mesh on opposite end, but with dog straped in on inside of bag they could have their head out. Plus a seperate ventalation area on that end with a flap to leave open or closed. Plenty of ventalation as far as I can tell and my little girl really blends in with the inside lining so you can not see her from the outside. Shouldn't have a problem taking her anywhere with me as she is a quiet little thing. Has a removable inside bottom if you need to and can be cleaned. I ordered the taupe and it has nice bronze hardware and zippers.And a really nice feature ... the bottom outside of bag has five little bronze feet for stability and keeps the bag from sitting directly on a surface which should help to keep it cleaner. The bag is made of a canvas type material, not plastic, in a bronze shinny trim and padded handles. Did not notice any strong oder as was noted in some reveiws. All in all I feel this bag is worth what I payed for it when comparing with those in stores priced higher ....Only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because nothing is perfect ... and since I have not used it yet anxious to see how it holds up to wear and tear as this will be my little girls home away from home as well as my purse?
